April: The Armed Man Mass with the Amadeus Orchestra

FCS will be guests of the Amadeus Orchestra for a performance of one of the most moving new choral works of our time, Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. This dramatic work was commissioned by the Royal Armouries in the UK to mark the transition from one millennium to another. It reflects on the passing of “the most war-torn and destructive century in human history” and looks forward in hope to a more peaceful future.
