Ginger Albertson teaches a Kodály-inspired program at Eagle View Elementary School in the Fairfax County Public School system where she teaches Kindergarten through 6th grade General Music and 5th and 6th grade choirs. She holds a BS in Music Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania, as a voice major, and earned her MA in Music Education from the University of Hawaii. She earned her Kodály certificate at George Mason University. Ginger has since joined the Kodály faculty at GMU and teaches Pedagogy in the summer Levels program. She is currently the President of the Virginia Organization of Kodály Educators, is a certified teacher mentor, and a member of NAfMe. Outside of her teaching, Ginger is an active member of Sweet Adelines International, and sings with the Vienna-Falls Chorus in Fairfax. She is the Associate Director for her barbershop chorus and sings in an active quartet.
