Larissa Rosenberg is excited to join the Fairfax Choral Society this year. She is an active collaborative pianist and most recently worked with the National Children’s Chorus. A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory (B.M., 2003), Mrs. Rosenberg completed a year of graduate studies at the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, Poland, and is currently working on her Master’s in Music Education at George Mason University with a focus in Orff-Schulwerk. An active teacher since 1999, Mrs. Rosenberg served as the director of the Piano Department at Thomas Edison High School from 2004-2016 and was a General Music teacher at Glen Forest Elementary School from 2016-2021. She teaches piano privately and is passionate about continuing to grow musically while embracing her new role as stay-at-home-mom. Mrs. Rosenberg lives in Springfield, VA with her husband Michael, 2-year old son Ryan, and feline companion Roman.
