One New Chorus, Two New Directors, Two Upcoming Concerts

Welcome to our 2018-2019 season!

FCS is kicking off our current season with two exciting concerts later this month.

Artistic Director Thomas Colohan and Vocal Arts Director Michael Ehrlich will conduct this fall in their Fairfax Choral Society debuts. Thomas Colohan will lead the FCS Symphonic Chorus in Classical Masterpieces on October 20, featuring works by Mozart, Schubert, and Hayden and featuring soloist Laura Choi Stuart. A week later on October 27, Michael Ehrlich will lead the first-ever concert of the newly-created FCS Vocal Arts Ensemble in An American Tapestry, exploring the depth and breadth of American choral music and including re-imaginings of classics such as Home on the Range.

Welcoming receptions for each both Mr. Colohan and Mr. Ehrlich will follow each concert.
