Conductor - Concert Choir & Master Singers

For the past six seasons, Patrick has served as the Director of Youth Choruses for FCS, overseeing six performing ensembles and over 200 students. He also conducts the Concert Choir and the Master Singers. In addition to his position with FCS, he serves as Director of Music Ministries at Annandale United Methodist Church in Annandale, VA, where he oversees over 100 musicians in eight vocal and instrumental ensembles.

Before moving to Northern Virginia in October 2004, he served as the Director of Music Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Dothan, AL, and the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Music South Symphony Orchestra. Prior to his church positions, Mr. Vaughn taught choir on the secondary level in Central Texas for nearly 10 years. His choirs have won awards domestically and internationally and have been held in the highest acclaim in the American Choral Directors Association, the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Choral Directors Association.

Mr. Vaughn is also the co-founder and artistic director of Brethren, a men’s ensemble comprised of professional, military, and church musicians; and a founding member of the Potomac River Chorale, a chamber chorus of Northern Virginia’s 24 finest vocalists.
