Caroline Crocker

Conductor - Lyric & Treble Choirs, Annandale Campus
As Director of Youth Education for the Fairfax Choral Society, Mrs. Crocker has launched eight levels of Kodály-based musicianship classes for the Youth Choruses as well as an Adult Music Education class. Her choirs have performed at RFK stadium and Carnegie Hall, with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and Sir David Willcocks, and for the Jamestown 400th anniversary.
Mrs. Crocker teaches general music and choir at Camelot Elementary School in Virginia as well as Graduate Conducting at Loyola University Maryland as part of the American Kodály Institute. She has also worked with Children’s Chorus of Maryland as Satellite Program Director and musicianship teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in Music Education degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Mrs. Crocker enjoys guest conducting for children’s choir festivals around Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio, as well as teaching current music teachers how to enable independence in the music classroom. She currently serves on the national board of the Organization of American Kodály Educators.
